Many of the team at Barfoot & Thompson Papatoetoe have also been in the area - and at the branch - for a long time. With this comes a wealth of knowledge and experience, and a solid understanding of the local real estate market.
The branch prides itself on a great team spirit that matches that of the local community. The team is also able to draw on the strength of the Barfoot & Thompson network.
As a non franchised real estate agency, all Barfoot & Thompson salespeople work for the company, not for an individual franchise. This means listings and information are shared across all 77+ branches Auckland wide, so any of the company's salespeople can introduce a potential buyer to your home. That's over 1,500+ people - increasing the effective reach of a campaign and creating buyer competition at a scale that could never be achieved with franchised offices.
Barfoot & Thompson Papatoetoe also has a very strong rental department made up of personable property managers who have a great local reputation for managing investment properties.
About Papatoetoe
Papatoetoe is known locally as the "Jewel of the South" and has two distinct parts, the established old Papatoetoe and newer developments at Hunters Corner. Properties range from traditional 1930s bungalows to a large proportion of good quality, solid brick and tile homes built in the 60s and 70s.
Barfoot & Thompson is strategically situated on Great South Road at Hunters Corner, the main shopping street for the area.
Old Papatoetoe also offers a good choice of high street shopping and local eateries. There is a wide selection of primary and intermediate schools, as well as Papatoetoe High School.
Those looking for recreation will find a number of parks and reserves, and boats enjoy easy access to both the Waitemata and Manukau Harbours.
