Stonefields is an area with a lot of history. Not only was it formed as a volcanic site about 9000 years ago but there is evidence of Maori activity and occupation dating back 600 years. In 1936, it was established as a quarry and in 2011 was purchased by developers Landco Limited who started the Stonefields master plan.
Close to the beautiful eastern beaches, Meadowbank shops, southern motorway and local public transport, this new community is in a superbly convenient location. It is close to the Remuera Golf Course, Waiatarua Reserve and wetlands and the University of Auckland Tamaki campus.
