Motueka is a town at the top of the South Island, lying close to the mouth of the Motueka River on the western shore of Tasman Bay. After Richmond, it is the second largest centre in the Tasman region. During the Summer months, Motueka attracts visitors from every corner of the globe, using it as a base to visit nearby National parks and beaches. Motueka features a diverse range of attractions from the flight school at the local airfield to evening classes spinning, cookery, foreign language tuition and a range of sports, hunting, and fishing clubs.
