A qualified builder by trade, Scott’s depth of experience in the construction industry coupled with an
extensive 20 year background in sales and account management, provides a unique insight into the
property market.
Scott moved to Nelson after 13 years in Christchurch working in the residential and commercial
building industry, both as qualified builder and a sales representative for a building merchant.
After moving to Nelson 17 years ago and taking up residence in the Kaiteriteri/Richmond area with
his wife Loretta and children Luke & Sienna, Scott diversified his career experience with roles such as
Sales for DB Breweries and Carters and more recently, General Manager for Hybrid Homes.
If that wasn’t enough to take up his time, he also created his own property portfolio, mostly built by
himself and as a result has a deep understanding of not only what makes a quality home but what a
successful investment looks like.
Scott has a passion for property and now his goal is to see other people achieve their property
dreams. His career has taught him the importance of fostering and maintaining successful
relationships and being commercially aware.
His experience has seen him involved in the implementation of countless marketing strategies.
Scott’s been responsible for new business development and generating leads. He knows what makes
a successful sales presentation. Scott excels at this, being awarded two HANZ awards for sales
representative of the year for the Top of the South, while at DB Breweries.
Scott loves life and what this region has to offer for him and his family. Not only taking advantage of
the outdoors with a keen interest in watersports and recreation, he is also currently a volunteer
fireman for the Kaiteriteri and Richmond Fire Brigades. Scott’s personal life has taught him the
importance of family, community and what home is.
