Naven immigrated to New Zealand in 2001 from South Africa, and brings a sharp financial mind and experience to this role. Having qualified as a cultural educator with a degree in Language, Arts & Culture (South India), Naven previously worked as a credit analyst with Rand Merchant Bank, where he completed two credit diplomas in banking with the Institute of Bankers (SA), and on arriving in New Zealand, spent five years with Fisher & Paykel Finance. Naven is very much a Kiwi, but he does remember what it’s like to immigrate to a new country. He has a great rapport and empathy with new home owners, and having worked, studied and lived in three different countries, he has a very good understanding of different cultural needs.
