I’m positive and outgoing and I enjoy socialising with different kinds of people. So, working in the real industry is the perfect job for me! Helping them to achieve the best possible result, not only describes my business but also who I am as a professional.

I’m proud to be part of Barfoot & Thompson, a family-owned and operated company with a dedicated sales team of more than 1,700 salespeople. I’m joining my husband Steve as an Associate Salesperson at Howick branch where we’ll work as a team.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Beijing. Upon my arrival in New Zealand 20 years ago, my family and I settled in East Auckland. It is an area with beautiful beaches and parks, good schools and convenient facilities and a community made more colourful by its cultural diversity.

Involvement in my community is a great way to get to know the people and the lifestyles they seek. I volunteered as a school helper and a translator at a local school for a time and also as Secretary for the local swimming club. At present, I’m the coordinator of the Neighbourhood Support for my street. By working together we support each other, solve local issues and make our neighbourhoods safer and more welcoming.

I’m an animal lover, particularly dogs and cats and we have a six-year old Labrador who’s very special. I love dancing and quite a few years ago now, I studied classical ballet and passed Grade 6 & & examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance. Gardening, music and Chinese traditional opera take up my spare time.
