I love what I do. I take it very seriously because I understand for most people buying and selling a house is a huge commitment. I am very honoured to be a part of the process and want to help make the transition smoother and easier.

I am very passionate about providing confidence to both owners and buyers. They know they are in great hands and will be taken care of. I started working as an agent in 2007, with many years of marketing and sales experience. I’ve created strategies and systems which have proven highly successful in achieving great results and helping people move on with their lives. I have consistently performed as one of the top agents in West Auckland and experienced a lot of change in property cycles over the years, so I can appreciate what it takes to sell in any market.

My qualifications include an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in advertising. By carefully choosing the right channels of communication, my marketing strategy will make your property stand out from the crowd and reach the right buyers. I think negotiation is a process of meeting needs and finding solutions. Finding the best price for my vendor is of utmost importance. My longest negotiation was 17 months, which with a balance of persistence & patience, I managed to find a happy result for both vendor & buyer, ending in a successful sale.

Operating as an individual salesperson with 2 support staff, I make sure that all buyers are handled personally through phone calls, emails, open homes, viewings and meetings, ensuring all information and service is consistent. Through the years, I have built a large database of homeowners, builders, developers, investors. I am also backed by the strength of the Barfoot &Thompson unique network which allows 1800+ salespeople to easily introduce buyers and share information on any property that is listed, thus increasing the reach of property campaigns.

I emigrated from China more than 20 years ago, settled in West Auckland, and very quickly made New Zealand home. Having a teenage daughter has made it easy for me to be involved in community projects and I support the local primary schools. Cherry's main focus areas are Te Atatu South and Glendene. She has lived in these areas for the 13 years and knows the streets like the back of her hand.

With more than 25 years sales and marketing experience including the last sixteen years in real estate, Cherry has gained both residential and commercial sales experience. She has gained personal knowledge about investment properties and the benefits that result from home improvements and renovations.

Cherry's qualifications include an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in advertising. Having closed some large commercial deals, Cherry is confident her excellent negotiation and marketing skills will assist in achieving top sale prices.

Originally from China, Cherry has a unique marketing approach using her network of Asian business associates plus the Asian media, providing excellent back up in this fast growing market. Well integrated into Western society, Cherry can relate easily to a wide variety of cultures. When not working, Cherry enjoys spending time with her young daughter and husband.
