Living up to her name, Sun is often described as bright and cheerful. But don’t let her quiet demeanour fool you. She has the kind of tenacity and work ethic required to become a major competitor in Drury’s real estate market.

Sun Lim’s name perfectly describes her bright, friendly personality yet behind the smile is a very experienced salesperson, with a solid work ethic and technical and interpersonal skills developed across years spent in many different industries – always based around delivering top-quality customer service.

Arriving from Korea in 2000 with a diploma in computer science, Sun identified an exciting new niche, assisting overseas students to find the perfect school and home-stay family, and a very successful business ensued.

After their two daughters arrived, Sun and her husband began a horticulture business, growing flowers in Drury, which they ran for five years. Then, when the girls started school, Sun took on the new challenge of a web design and development degree course at Auckland’s Media Design School.

Her next move saw her owning and operating a very popular café and catering business, which she ran for two years, delivering a healthy profit.

Arriving in real estate in 2017 - following a suggestion from her builder husband, Sun realized that she’d finally found her dream job.

Sun is delighted with the new team she has gathered together under her own leadership. It includes Kiwis, Indian and Chinese agents representing the very rich, local cultural melting pot.
