John has more than 40 years experience in both residential real estate sales, property management and body corporate/company share secretarial services.

John’s real estate career spans more than three decades, starting in 1981

at the age of 21. His journey has included many record sales, industry

awards and other recognition.

Striving for excellence has been a hallmark of John’s success and is one

of the key reasons his results have consistently exceeded expectations.

In 1987 John purchased the company, then in 1989 he joined it with The

Professionals Co-operative Group. This was a strategic move which has

given John access to all the group’s resources and allowed him and the

company to learn from, and be associated with, some of the best real

estate companies in Australasia.

John is an advocate of specialisation; he and his company have made

it their business to be experts in residential real estate in ‘Lower Hutt’.

He believes that sticking to this clear focus is in the best interests of the

company’s clients, customers and staff.

John heads Professionals, Redcoats Limited, based in Lower Hutt, with branch offices also in Stokes Valley, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne and Wellington City.

Almost 100 staff are employed across the sales division, including the sales team, administration, marketing and finance.

The Professionals sales team all specialise within their service areas and have a high level of expertise in the selling process, from appraisal through marketing and negotiation, to a successful sale.

Professionals are highly successful Auctioneers, with weekly Auctions held in their rooms on a Thursday at midday.
