Previously, as a registered pharmacist, Shellene established her first business at the age of 22. After owning and operating various pharmacies in South Africa, Shellene moved to New Zealand in 1996 to continue her successes in two pharmacies, which have been well recognised in the pharmacy industry.

In her free time, Shellene enjoys cycling, walking the family dogs, reading, baking and spending time with her husband and their three adult children. Summer evenings Shellene can be seen walking on the beach or relaxing while her husband surf casts.
