Karen is a proud mother of two sons – Cameron, a Real Estate Agent, and Ryan (Guppy), a Builder – both based in Selwyn. She also has two lovely daughters-in-law and is delighted to be a grandmother to twin girls, Addie and Evie, born to Cam and Laura.

The flexibility of her real estate career allows Karen to give back through volunteer work with the Cancer Society, regularly driving patients to Christchurch and helping with fundraising – most notably, coordinating Relay for Life.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys walking, catching up with friends and family, and playing golf. A much-loved addition to the McRae/Niles family is Indie, a sweet little Schnoodle who is thoroughly spoilt and adored.
