Penny and Grant also market-gardened in the Lakeside area

and Grant had owned the family business Clausens Canvas

and PVC which had been in the Clausen family for 100 years.

They now operate their own window cleaning and spider-

proofing business based in Leeston.

Penny has been involved in the local community for years with their girls attending Leeston Primary School and Ellesmere College. Her interests include having a passion for property building and she has studied interior design.
