Cliff Meek

Born in Clyde, Central Otago, I grew up in Palmerston, Waitaki. We moved to Oamaru to finish my schooling at Waitaki Boy’s High School. I am married to Glenda and we have three grown children, along with one grandchild. Two of our children live here in New Zealand and one in Australia.

I have had various jobs through out my working career, starting off as an electrical linesman at Waitaki Electric Power Board for the first 7 years after leaving school. The next job was working in the mines in Western Australia for three years, then back to Oamaru to take up a position at the freezing works. From there my wife Glenda and I ran our own business and began our journey into real estate, we built several houses and renovated a few more, having always had a passion for real estate, I began my papers to become a salesperson, this was in 2013, and have not looked back from there, becoming a top sales persons for Southern Wide Real Estate, and beginning the journey with Property Brokers in Oct 2020.

My passion for real estate, my local knowledge of the area, along with my experience with building is a definite advantage when looking for advice on the housing market. I am always ready and willing to help.

Glenda Meek

I am a local Waitakian, educated here at Waitaki Girls’ High School. Married to Cliff and we have three grown children, the eldest with a son of his own. Two of our children live here in New Zealand, and one in Adelaide Australia. Cliff and I have lived most of our married life here in Oamaru, (three of those years in Australia).

I have entered the Real Estate industry a few years after Cliff, and we now work together as a team, before selling real estate – we have built several houses in the area and renovated a few more, so real estate really is a passion for us.

Having previously been in administration, banking and working with Community Groups, I’ve had a lot experience in customer service, and in Real Estate, this is key, along with honesty, confidentiality and attention to detail. So along with our passion in Real Estate, knowledge of our local area and a solid work ethic, we are ready to give our clients and customers the best very best service.
