"Passion for People...Passion for Homes" is my motto in Real Estate and it really embodies the passion that I have for my clients and their homes.  I trained as an Interior Decorator/Designer at CPIT in Christchurch and then tutored in that programme for quite a few years.  I then went on to work in the Ashburton, Methven, Mid-Canterbury area where I built lasting relationships with my clients while they were either redecorating their homes or starting from scratch and building new for themselves and their family's.  I worked for several Company's such as McKenzie & Willis, Riverland Interiors and Stonewood Homes.

With time can come some change, and I was offered the opportunity to work in the Wardrobe Dept on the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy which I did whilst filming was being done throughout the South Island.  Out of this my interest in Makeup Artistry and Fashion went to a new level and I went on to train both as a Fashion Stylist and Professional Makeup Artist through KSSM, a prestigious makeup school.  I went on to freelance as a Makeup Artist for Woman's Day, Woman's Weekly and New Idea Magazines and in television for the Mitre 10 Dream Home show.  My love for fashion and jewellery was also in play and I was asked if I would consider being a part of a new team opening the new Michael Hill Jeweller store that was about to come to Ashburton.  I took up this opportunity and spent a year also training as a Certified Diamontologist - specialising in Diamonds.  I excelled as a top sales consultant for the Company, achieving many awards, certificates and recognition for sales and service.  After five years at Michael Hill, the opportunity presented itself to jump into Real Estate and I did...with both feet!  I felt that it would combine the passion I had for people, for selling and for their homes.  A perfect combination for me!

I absolutely love working in Real Estate - meeting new people and making their dreams come true; getting out and about and I have had many wonderful testimonials from those who have either bought or sold from me.  I believe it is important to treat others with respect, show integrity and to walk the extra mile which are some of the things my customers say about me.  I work with a fantastic group of people here at Ray White in Ashburton where we show these qualities to our customers and each other.  We are a great team; we help each other and have a lot of fun and laughs!

Over the years I have personally bought, sold, renovated and redecorated many homes.  I am currently restoring an iconic/historic Billy Thomas home here in Ashburton.  It is a lovely seeing an old lady come back to life! (I mean the house!....)
