Jasveen Singh is a very good listener – something his clients have noticed and value about him as he accompanies them on their real estate journey. Originally from Punjab in India and fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English, Jasveen has a substantial background in the telecommunications industry. His early career was spent with British Telecom where he worked on a help desk fielding in-bound calls regarding internet and IT issues. He was quickly promoted because his calm, courteous, self-assured manner was appreciated by customers, colleagues and recognized by his management team.
In 2010, seeking better career opportunities, Jasveen took the courageous step to leave his home country and head to New Zealand for study. While completing a Diploma in Information Technology in Auckland, his telecommunications background came in very useful, and he was employed by Vodafone in their customer service department. After graduating, Vodafone employed him full- time and he was promoted to their Mobile Tech team where for 5 ½ years he dealt with customer calls, trouble shooting and handling technical enquiries. A 2-year stint at the Ministry of Education was followed up by his decision to use his significant customer-focussed skills and adapt them to the challenging real estate profession.
From the gaining of his licence in early 2019, Jasveen became very focussed on becoming a skilled real estate operative in the south Auckland region and was recognised as one of top three agents in the office the latter half of that year, hitting the number 1 spot in August. He loves the challenge of his role, and relishes that no two days are the same. Working in offices in Otahuhu, Manurewa and now at Ray White Manukau gives Jasveen a great cross section of experiences and he harnesses his deep understanding of technology to give his clients a well-run campaign they can rely on.
Jasveen is married with a young family and in addition to his association to his temple and cultural community, is a volunteer with the Auckland City Mission. Jasveen believes in giving back and while living in India was involved in an organisation that was at the forefront in the rebuilding of infrastructure in flood and earthquake affected regions.
