Tom’s transition into Real Estate has been a natural one, built on more than 30 years of experience in Chartered Accountancy and Business Management. Having been involved in numerous property transactions throughout his career, Tom understands the process from both sides—giving him the insight needed to help clients achieve a genuine win–win outcome.
Wairarapa born and bred, Tom feels privileged to support local people with their real estate needs. “What I’ve discovered since entering real estate is that people need an agent they can trust—someone who genuinely understands their journey. It’s not just about selling a property; it’s about supporting people, whether they’re facing challenging circumstances or pursuing their dreams and aspirations.”
“That’s incredibly important during a major transaction—people need to feel understood, and they need to have confidence in that understanding.”
Outside of work, Tom is married to Michelle, and together they have three adult sons and a daughter currently completing high school. “Family plays a huge part in our life, and outside of work we love spending quality time with our kids.”
Tom is also an active member of the Wairarapa Bush Rugby Referees, having officiated more than 100 Premier games in the Wairarapa Bush competition and previously being part of the Hurricanes Zone referee squad. He is a former Chairman of the WBRRA.
In addition, Tom has contributed—and continues to contribute—to a variety of boards and committees, including those within Chartered Accountants, Community Trusts and community organisations, and School Boards.
“When the opportunity came up to join the Ray White Wairarapa team, it was an easy decision. Being part of such a high-performing regional team really excites me.”
Tom brings passion, focus, and a wealth of experience to every client he works with. His professionalism and integrity ensure clients feel supported and confident at every stage of the journey.
“Success is a decision. Dare to choose it.”
