A friendly, open character with an eye for detail, Paige Thrupp was always attracted to a career in frontline customer service. As a result, she obtained her Certificate in Travel and Tourism straight out of school and later worked in various reception and administration roles.
Paige discovered her niche in the property industry during her last job as an administrator with Ray White Papakura. Over two-and-a-half years, she received a comprehensive grounding in the business of real estate, enjoying it so much that, in 2017, she attained her salesperson’s licence.
Early 2018, Paige transitioned to Ray White Manurewa; the bustling central hub for the fast-growing Ray White Sue Douglas Group, which also includes Ray White Takanini, Drury and very recently, Karaka. Attracted by the company’s reputation for teamwork and their supportive approach to professional growth, Paige has many things in common with the award-winning group.
Like Ray White Sue Douglas, Paige is all about her customers. Similarly, she’s proven to be forward-thinking, by gaining her real estate qualifications ahead of time. Perhaps most significantly, however, Paige has shown that she’s prepared to help her team, ready and willing to cover a three-month gap in the administration roster before advancing her preferred career as a sales associate. Noting that her temporary role as project administrator provides a fantastic opportunity to orientate to a different business structure, Paige again aligns with the grounded, practical approach of her new employer.
A personal property project takes up much of Paige’s downtime. The opportunity to purchase a section and build a house has been exciting. Her father is a qualified builder, and with the support of her parents, she’s well on the way on the way to owning her first home. When not scouring through architectural design magazines, Paige says she most enjoys socialising with her family and friends.
