After nearly 20 years at the forefront of mobile telecommunications in Northland, Brett made the decision to follow his passion for real estate in September 2014. In 2018 Lyn (his wife) joined Brett after selling their successful business, the five-star motel - Lodge Bordeaux.

Lots of loyal customers have attested to the success of Brett and Lyn’s previous ventures and many have continued their business relationships going forward. Brett and Lyn know a lot of people which can prove extremely beneficial to their clients when buying and selling real estate. Very much a people person, Brett values the relationships he creates “I love meeting people and mixing and mingling whether it’s with one of the business groups in town or on the golf course, I love it here”.

"I appointed Brett and Lyn Sawyers in November 2023 to list and sell my above property. I didn’t know them personally. However, from our first meeting and throughout the duration of the above they provided top service and an extremely high level of personal efficiency. He arranged for the Ray White photographer to take the sale property photos which included drone footage and supervised in detail every shot required. The quality was outstanding. He took a team of three out to Crane Road for Open Homes. The driveway required ‘traffic management’ and he covered it. Justin Sims and Paige Kidwell assisted Brett. Open home reports were phoned to me virtually as Brett was leaving the property. The eventual buyers were the first open home viewers and Brett communicated with this couple throughout and included me in the pre-settlement inspection. The property settled in June 2024."
