After years of living abroad in countries such as Fiji, China, and the USA Janet has developed an appreciation and love of people and culture and a definitive love of Northland, the place she has chosen to call home.  She recognised that genuine human connectedness and unsurpassed service are essential cornerstones for her business and wholly honours the words she stands by: “The Difference is in the Detail”. Her skills are honed through years of experience, and bolstered through formal, and ongoining, training.  Janet never stops pushing the envelope and challenging herself. She visualizes outcomes and then sets about putting the building blocks in place to achieve the outcome.

Her property journey started when she purchased her first home, in Kamo, at the age of 22. It was an old miners cottage which she renovated and re-landscaped. This process, and a love of property, led her into the building industry where she worked for corporate giants - Dulux, Englefield-Kohler, Carters Joinery, Gunnersons and the Laminex Group - working her way up from retail to to national sales management.  After a stint abroad, where Janet completed her Bachelor's Degree in Mandarin Chinese, she once again returned to Whangarei and took a design role at GJ Gardner - a position which taught her a lot about the building process and gave her a greater appreciation for house design.Wanting to deliver service excellence to her customers, Janet completed post graduate training in services management through Massey University, then stepped into real estate in 2013 training under the Pittard Training System becoming a stand-out performer in Australasia. Forging ahead and to grow her own business she joined the Ray White Group in 2016
