Living life thoroughly and with no adrenalin-fueled stone unturned, Ged always had an enterprising eye for the big picture and a flair for tourism which firmly established him in the Queenstown business scene for over two decades.
Aside from his uninspiringly humdrum resume encompassing paragliding, rafting, jet-boating, river boarding, diving and hunting charters, heli-ski guiding and film work (he was once Robert De Niro’s stunt double!) while living in Queenstown, Ged’s a family man, with wife Nadia and two children ensconced on their lifestyle block in the Mapua area. Having a yearning to move back to the ocean, have their kids enjoy a more typical Kiwi upbringing and love of growing their own food, Ged and his family feel the Tasman area was the perfect fit and are loving the Good Life and the Mapua community.
Alongside his entrepreneurial ventures, Ged’s always been a keen property investor, having built, managed and owned commercial and residential property. A University study of property valuation helped with Ged’s decision to turn his investment interests into a career by joining the exciting world of real estate and spent a decade selling some of the most stunning properties in the country in the Queenstown region. He learnt the hard way beginning his real estate career when the global financial crisis struck taught him service, honesty and trust above all else are what creates happy clients and results.
Ged is a volunteer fireman and enjoys the camaraderie of the local crew from the village. He loves keeping fit and getting out in nature with the family and is blown away by how much the Tasman area has to offer.
Ged has lived on lifestyle properties for 20 years and grown up with a rural background, has a great practical understanding of all the idiosyncrasies they present (water systems, sewage systems, livestock, fencing, maintenance, etc.) so he fully understands property and can present any property in the best possible light to potential buyers.
If you want honesty, integrity, professional service and a great result give Ged a call.
