Shaun lives in Kihikihi, with a population of 3500 located just 6 minutes’ drive from the booming rural town of Te Awamutu.

He lives in a 100-year-old character home situated on a 2000 sq m section with his fiancée, 3 teenage children, Mocha the chocolate Labrador and 3 chickens.

Shaun has been involved in sales all his career including radio, Real Estate, retail, Fast Moving Consumable Goods also spending 3 years of his life managing the Scott Base Shop and Bar in Antarctica. His last sales role of 18 years as a Territory Sales Representative for a Global Fast Moving Consumable Goods company based in Nelson and then the Waikato.

Shaun has a love of the outdoors and enjoys ticking off outdoor pursuits such as tramping and cycling, some recent adventures include hiking our local mountains Mount Pirongia, Mount Kakepuku, Mount Te Aroha, and further afield completing The Tongariro Alpine crossing as well as twice cycling by bike the Otago Rail trail with his family carrying all their gear in panniers.
