Wellington born and educated, Wayne has always been a self-starter and worked in a variety of sectors. He is empathetic in his interaction with clients on all levels and being skilled in negotiation to overcome problems is the essence of his working life.
Wayne Sampson has a special affinity with people and assisting them to achieve their needs and aspirations in real estate related matters is an important priority of his. A family man in the true sense of the word, Wayne was born, bred and educated to university level in Wellington; a city that is his home and a location he takes pride in selling to his extensive client base.
Wayne has been among the top performers at Tommy’s high performance central city office now for the past 15 years. This last year has been no exception with Wayne well placed among the top 10 agents for the year. Prior to that Wayne pursued a wide ranging business background including a period of time working in property development. He also conducted an importation business out of Europe and Asia and in particularly the emerging and challenging Indian market in the 1980’s. Wayne’s lifetime work experience has therefore been in fields of endeavor where his initiative and his people and entrepreneurial skills have enabled him to succeed.
Moving with the times and in order to provide his clients with a more complete real estate service, Wayne has in the past 12 months formed a working partnership with a young rising real estate star Ben Terry. Wayne and Ben have formed a formidable team and jointly cater for the wider community who benefit from the vast experience of Wayne and the youth and enthusiasm of Ben. Whilst capitalizing on the ever changing enhancements in technology when developing marketing and promotional material, Wayne and Ben have never departed from the mantra that satisfying a client’s needs and aspirations is their paramount objective.
Wayne is a popular team member at Tommy’s which ensures he gains the full support from his work colleagues when seeking the best possible support and outcome for his vendor clients. He is affectionately known as ‘uncle’ by his work colleagues and believes that honesty and integrity coupled with a willingness to work extremely hard will ultimately result in ‘clients for life’.
