It would come as no surprise to the many people who have employed Rob Jones as their real estate expert, to learn that back in 2001 after only 30 days in the profession, he’d listed 7 properties and sold 5 of them.

After a highly successful and specialised career in the home textile industry where he applied his design, sales and marketing talents with spectacular results, Rob moved in to real estate 13 years ago. But his love of real estate and personal involvement with it actually began when he bought his first property aged 19 back in the UK. It’s a passion that continues to this day.

Approachable and friendly, Rob tackles the challenge of selling a home for his clients with drive and a determination to get the best possible price from the market. He listens to his clients – and responds appropriately to their needs. Hard-working and honest as the day is long, Rob’s English sense of humour and ability to roll with the punches has his loyal “fans” coming back for more. He has sold a significant number of properties in Remuera, Epsom and Mt Eden several times over.

As a resident of the area for many years, Rob has been personally involved in a number of regional and community initiatives. Most notably, Rob serves on the board of Eden Gardens – an iconic natural haven in central Auckland; and is also Chairman of Forest & Bird Auckland Central where he indulges his deep love of conservation. Butterflies, native birds and rare and exotic plants are a particular fascination of his and he has accumulated a considerable knowledge on them. A lover also of fine wines and formerly a top squash player- Rob is a man of many talents and interests.

Aligning himself these days with Adrienne Jonas-Gooch – another successful and award-winning agent, Rob envisages their complementary team of two will offer clients the best of both worlds - a wonderful chance for the public to harness the considerable resources that these two dynamic agents offer.
